ACT Crash Course


ACT Instructor, Terri K. of Prepped & Polished, gives you four tips to help you perform at your best on the ACT, especially if your test is just weeks away!

The ACT is right around the corner. It might be a week away or a month away, and you haven’t really started to prep yet. The last thing you want to do is panic or cram because that won’t really improve your performance.

The ACT is a curriculum-based achievement test, and it measures skills and knowledge already gained from topics covered in high school study – English, math, reading, science, and writing. This is exactly what the ACT is testing you on.

Four tips for the ACT

Today, I’m going to give you four tips to help you feel mentally confident and calm so you’ll perform your best on the ACT.

  1. Practice tests make perfect.
  2. Memorize the format.
  3. Have a pacing game plan.
  4. Focus on strategies
