In Episode 262 of the Prepped and Polished Podcast, Aaron shares three tips that students can use to boost their GRE score.

The GRE test is meant for multiple different programs. So, you need to keep in mind that the test sections and structure will be more balanced between the quantitative and verbal reasoning sections.

The three tips to boost the GRE score are:

1. Create a realistic timeline:

Decide when you want to start and when you actually want to take the test. A lot of time, we don’t have that much time between starting prep, taking the test, and sending applications. So, you want to decide really early when you are going to take the test.

2. Get in plenty of practice:

Taking practice tests allows students to see where they are with each section of the test. It also allows students to set goals and have time to work on meeting them.

3. Spend time reviewing material:

There is going to be a significant amount of vocabulary in the GRE. So, daily vocabulary review and daily formula or math formula memorization are critical.
