I went from Cs to A minuses and As; it took me a few years to turn my grades around. So, what did I do differently?
One, I found teachers I could connect with. I built rapport and my attitude turned around. I was more engaged in class, got my questions answered, and I also participated. You’ll be rewarded with a better grade if you have a better attitude. Effort means everything when it comes to the grades.
The last thing I’m going to tell you is to get to class on time. You want to put your best foot forward, you want to get your notebook out, you want to show the teacher that you care. If you get to class late, that A becomes a B, that B becomes a C. So get to class early, put your best foot forward, and you’re on your way to better grades.
