Here’s a tip that I find particularly useful for students overcoming anxiety.

For students who consider themselves poor test takers, I want to talk about the importance of practice. Now, practice is going to help. Even if you feel like it’s not helping immediately, it will really help you in the long run. I found that if students put time and effort into practicing consistently and you start preparing months ahead of time and not just a couple of days before the test or a week before testing, you’re going to make improvements. It might not be right away, but at the end of it, you should see major results.
