Motivation
I find most times, a student who has a very strong motivation, work ethic or similar so that they can have the ability to score high on the SAT.
Noticing and working off of a timeline.
If we have someone who’s at 1390 and we have three or four months to prep for the test, and they have the motivation to work through it, we can figure out how explicitly we can pinpoint those areas of necessity that need to be fixed and work toward improvement.
Strategies, approaches and time management
There are strategies, approaches, and also time management that students will need to have to get a 1600 on the SAT. Strategies can include anything from the process of elimination to starting with the historical literature first in the reading section versus a literary narrative passage.
Content knowledge
Content knowledge is going to be most important for both the math section and the writing and language section. So, students who are aiming for 1600 and those who can attain that score already have a strong base knowledge in both sections.
Put in a good amount of prep
My final point is to put in a good amount of prep. We want more time to prep because then it becomes small pieces of information over a longer period, allowing your brain to assimilate it.
