Alexis Avila, Founder/CEO of Prepped and Polished Tutoring and Test Preparation of Wellesley, Massachusetts discusses the 60 minute 60 question ACT math section. He covers how to approach the exam and overall how to excel in it. The best way to excel in the ACT math section is to be prepared. Hope you enjoy the video.

The ACT math section is notorious for being a very big portion of the Act section as a whole. It was the second part of four; it is 60 minutes with 60 questions, the longest amount of time and the second longest amount of questions, next to the act English section.

When we’re thinking about the ACT math section, there are obviously some parts that I will cover today that are what we call foundational elements to consider. However, there are other aspects of the test to think about in order to excel in it. These are

  • Time management
  • Memorization, recognition and application
  • Calculation errors
  • Questions difficulty

If you have a student who’s looking to improve their score or excel on the ACT math section, please contact us at preppedandpolished.com, we’d be happy to help.
