You still have work to do and you know there will be some steps you’ll have to take to do well and graduate successfully.

1. Continue to work hard and show leadership

Get good grades and show leadership senior year because colleges do look at senior year grades. So have momentum going into college.

2. Take a final SAT or ACT if needed

Take some standardized tests during the fall of senior year if you’re not satisfied with your essay.

3. Get your college application essay out of the way early

Try to get your college application essay out of the way by the end of August, preferably about September, because if you leave that essay around, you’re going to be stressed out.
